Full-time UX Designer at Property Tech Startup

at Land Insight in London

We’re a property tech startup based in Old Street, London. If we were writing this last year there would be six of us, now there are twenty-five and we’re still growing fast to assemble the all-star team needed to tackle a monumental challenge: the ‘Housing Crisis’.

We believe that by using technology to crack open the land market like a prize-winning lobster, we’re in the process of making a big business that will unlock the land needed on which more houses can be built. This vision is backed the same investors behind Love Film, TransferWise, Zoopla, Shazaam and Property Partner. Real issues, real tech, underpinned by a real economic opportunity.

Our team is of the highest importance and our employees to be people we want to spend a lot of time sitting next to. Therefore we’ve often found ourselves parting company to hit the last tube when work turned into dinner or celebrating smashing our latest milestone. London is a great city, your work should not stifle your enjoyment of this. It should be part of what makes your life here good.

About the role

There are ten of us working on product development. You’ll work closely with the product manager, designer and our customers to constantly improve user experience. Your core focus will be our main web application, but you’ll have plenty of opportunities to have input on other customer touchpoints such as the marketing site and mobile app. You will undertake customer research, write product requirements and create wireframes / storyboards.

Property development is complex, so it’s a challenge making the software educational and simple to use. You’ll be a key part of the team that drives quality design that our users deeply care about.
