Full-time Interaction Designer

at Gamevy (Anywhere)

As a Game Interaction Designer, you’ll tackle designing high-quality real money games.

Every game is unique, requiring new solutions to delight the customers, making it perfect for first-time users whilst also driving sales from those who play our games regularly.

Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of designers, engineers, and product throughout the design process — from creating user flows and wireframes to building user-interface mockups and prototypes.

This role is perfect for someone who has recently completed a human-interaction controls qualification or has relevant experience. Due to the constantly changing nature of the games, this role really is challenging and you will be responsible for bringing the right approaches into the company.

Experience in gambling is not required, but having the ability to be inventive with new solutions is.

- Conceptualise ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design

- Create prototypes, storyboards, user and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas from idea to product launch

- Establish and promote a user-centric design approach through the company

What's your background?

University degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Game Design, or similar preferable
1-5 years of work experience in the UX area and service design preferable
Proven experience in the UX design process and proficiency in prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure,, Balsamiq, Adobe CC etc.
Updated on the latest UX trends, technologies and techniques
Experience in designing for different platforms and adaptive/responsive design
Knowledge about gamification and game mechanics is a plus
Since our working language is English, high proficiency in English, both written and oral, paired with skills in clear and effective communication is a must.

The role is open to flexible working, remote working.
