Full-time UX Designer

e3creative, one of Manchester’s finest award-winning integrated digital agencies, is on the lookout for a motivated, hardworking UX professional to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the various teams within the agency to produce innovative UX solutions for a wide range of clients.

The core duties and responsibilities include:

Working closely with the team to deliver UX solutions to a wide range of briefs, from full website builds, mobile application creation, through to start-up production, and ongoing improvements to our existing client base
Work collaboratively with disciplines and clients to define user experiences to balance user goals and overall business objectives, while considering brand, time, budget, and technology
Apply user-centred approaches to address complex design problems and provide solid design solutions
Planning and conducting suitable research methods or evaluations
Analysing findings and data
Producing wireframes and prototype documentation
Applying various testing methods to ensure the user is considered at every stage of the journey
Ensure outputs meet usability, accessibility, design, and quality standards
For the role, you must:

Ideally have experience in a UX product/ strategy/ research design role
Ideally have experience within an agency environment, although this isn’t essential
Have a portfolio of your recent design work, which can include academic projects
Have a good understanding of user experience and user-centred design best practises/ design principles
Have the ability to demonstrate a clear, methodical approach to problem-solving
Be creative with problem-solving processes, which facilitate ideas
Be a motivated self-starter and action oriented, with a clear focus on delivery
Understand the importance of deadlines as well as client and business needs
Be able to work collaboratively within project teams, including developers and marketers
Be comfortable communicating to a range of audiences; for example, presenting to clients, interviewing users, or articulating your ideas to the wider team
Have excellent documentation of ideas
Be eager to learn and grow as a UX designer
Keep an eye on emerging trends within digital experiences to ensure we are always one step ahead in our design practice
