Full-time Software Technical Consultant

This role will be instrumental in providing both technical support and consulting services directly to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing, resolving and managing customer support issues, whilst building on-going relationships with our client base.
• Assisting with the implementation of the company’s solutions with customer project teams, and in pre-sales proof of concept scenarios.
• Delivering on-site training for clients.
• Managing software releases and installation for clients.
• Providing support for license management as well as pre-sales, marketing and service delivery functions.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants should therefore have the ability to travel on occasions as required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Engineering background.
• Excellent technical abilities, including knowledge of MS Office products (with advanced excel skills), Windows operating systems, database management. Knowledge of development environments, in particular Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Great customer service skills, with logical problem solving ability.
• Great written and verbal skills with sound command of English.
• Ability to communicate appropriately with a wide variety of people and to tailor the language/ message to the audience (technical and not).
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Experience with TOGAF, BPMN and other frameworks is preferred

Previous experience could include roles such as: Software Engineer, Consultant, Applications Support Analyst, Helpdesk, IT Support, Application Support, Developer, Technical Support, Software Tester etc.
